What is the Best of Shop Local Augusta?
Shop Local Augusta Favorites was created to give the CSRA community an opportunity to share their favorites… on everything you can find in the locally owned, small business community.
How does it work?
The voting for Shop Local Augusta Favorites is a 2-phase process:
Phase 1: Nominations
During this phase you may submit your nominations for each category with open write-in nominations taking place.
The top 10 nominations in each category will move on to the Phase 2: Voting.
Phase 2: Voting
The top 10 nominees in each category are listed in the ballot for this final round of voting
Voters are asked select their favorite from among those that are listed on the ballot.

What is Best of Shop Local Augusta?
It’s an annual event where the community votes for their favorite local businesses and organizations in various categories. The winners receive recognition as the best in the CSRA, along with promotion on our platform.
How are businesses nominated for the contest?
Nominations are open to the public. You can nominate your favorite local businesses when the contest launches each year.
How does voting work?
After nominations close, the voting round begins. Community members can vote once per day in each category during the voting period.
What do winners receive?
Winners are celebrated with a Best of Shop Local Augusta badge, a feature on our website, and additional promotion throughout the year.
How can my business get involved in the contest?
Make sure your business is listed in the directory and encourage your customers to nominate and vote for you during the contest. Reach out to past and present clients, your email subscribers and your social media followers! Share the contest posts and let them know what category you’re looking to win!
